At Brittany Websites we build simple websites that work.
We always let our clients know the charges up front - there are no hidden costs.
We aim to shield our clients from the nitty-gritty of website design and hosting. Just because we need to know what a FormMail.pl is, where to find a CGI Bin or what FTP is, doesn't mean that you do (although we do explain all these terms, and many more, on our Glossary page.
Our Strategy
We are able to provide fast, effective and attractive websites for the reasonable prices that we charge by concentrating upon a selection of proven designs.
We don't bombard you with meanlingless extras that you'll never use; we just offer straightforward packages that you can expand on, at a later date.
All you have to do is choose the product that suits your requirements best, decide on an available Dot Com name, choose a design that you like, choose any free or chargeable add-ons and then forward your text and photos to us.
We will then supply you with a working site within one week.
Our Resources
Our sites are hosted on a dedicated server with dual mirrored hard drives and a guaranteed up time of 99.95%
In the office, our workstations are all backed up, not only to local backup drives but also to internet based storage.
Between us, we have 15 years experience of living and working in Brittany.
Strong Linux programming skills allow us to script solutions to the sort of everyday problems that plague most web designers.
Virtualisation allows us to test all websites using all available browsers under multiple operating systems including MS XP, MS Vista, MS Windows 7, Apple OSx and Linux variants.
